About us

Vanessa, Joël and our young princess Iona have left our city life to enjoy with you the wonders of the Baie de Somme, in the countryside but only a short stride from the sea. Each of us has his or her own specialities and responsibilities, but we have in common to warmly welcome you to our home with a smile.

We fell in love with this former 18th century presbytery, transformed with style into a guest house by Corinne and Franck, and then enthusiastically taken over by Sophie and Antoine for a few years. It is now up to us to share it with you some bits and pieces of serenity.

We are devoted to grow a subtle blend of charm, luxury, craftsmanship and eco-tourism as our modest ambitions progress. In our short-term projects, we will move towards an approach that is as eco-conscious as possible by gradually adapting our habits, our energy consumption, recycling, local and circular economy. In short, the Presbytery's approach will value "local consumption, green consumption, consumption in full consciousness".

You can either stay in a guest room or in a gypsy trailer. Of course, breakfast will be served every morning (even with different options to choose from). On Fridays and Saturdays, you can also enjoy our table d'hôtes (please contact us for the other evenings).

We will also promote the relationships with our local artisans. Soon, we hope to be able to offer you La petite Vitrine du Presbytère where you can find a selection of products. We will start with our beer, La Presbytérienne, brewed for us by our partner La Brasserie de la Somme.

Take the time to browse our pages to learn more about our services. You can also go directly to the reservation, browse our F.A.Q. or our General Terms and Conditions of Sale or of course contact us if you need anything.

See you soon at the Presbytery!

Basic rules

A guest room is not a hotel! A guest room is a warm and cosy get together place. A guest room is an art of living. It is also an opportunity to get to know each other, to share, to discuss,... in mutual respect and with a few simple basic rules, allowing everyone to preserve the harmony of the place.

In short, you are probably staying at the same time as other people who may have other expectations. Merely remember to respect the peace of the Presbytère. Also note that the house is totally non-smoking (including steaming) (an ashtray is in the courtyard; its use is mandatory; cigarette butts are not tolerated).

Finally, we are private individuals, not hoteliers. Do not hesitate to consult us or ask for help or advice, but do not expect a 24-hour reception (please check our schedules).

For more details, our general terms are at your disposal; you have accepted them upon reservation A list of questions is also available to answer quickly the most frequently asked questions. For those who have affinities with legal texts, our legal notices are also there for you concerning the respect of privacy, confidentiality, GDPR, ...

Thank you!
